10th Kerala State Conference of TUCI, held successfully at Ernakulam on 7th January 2024
Ernakulam: 10th Kerala State Conference of TUCI, held successfully at Ernakulam on 7th January 2024. Comrades TC Subramanian, KV Prakash, Sindhu KS, PN Babu, Aboobacker were elected to act as the presidium.
The conference began with TUCI flag hoisting by state secretary Com. TC Subramanian and commemoration of martyrs.
The Central Co-ordinator Comrade R. Manasayya inaugurated the delegates’ conference. Comrade RM emphasized the importance to fight the imprialist capital & the neo-fascist hindutva as the urgent task of all trade unions in general & TUCI specifically. And the TUCI upholds the class politics of the prolitarian internationalism. Further, he also presented the draft programme of TUCI. Delegates involved in active discussion. Many comrades raised the question of legitimate TUCI, like who owns the TUCI title. Comrade Manasayya replied to all the queries precisely including the discussion on Artificial Intelligence and its impact on modern day workers, Trade Unions & the political economy as a whole.

Resolutions on four labour codes, cast census, unlawful change of type of plantation lands, crisis faced by workers in construction field, abolishing of hunger strike, etc.

Comrade TC Subramanian addressed the conference on behalf of the newly elected Kerala State Committee.
Comrade Sindhu KS expressed vote of thanks. The conference ended with the international song, while the newly elected Kerala State Committee President Comrade KV Prakash loweredย theย flag.
