Imposition of four Labour Code’s: Ahead of a strong movement against the fascist Modi government!

The Modi government has finally succeeded in taking away the legal rights that the working class of India had won through a long struggle! That is, despite the opposition of 65 crore workers of this country, the Modi government has implemented four labor laws to protect corporate capital. This is a fascist attack on the working class on a large scale.
The Trade Union Centre of India (TUCI) has strongly condemned this treasonous move of the Central BJP government, which has brought into force the Wages Code (2019), Industrial Relations Code (2020), Social Security Code (2020) and Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (OSHWC) Codes from today i.e. November 21, 2025.
96 percent of the total working class in India is unorganized. They have not yet received the minimum legal wage and social security. More than 85 percent of workers are deprived of the minimum wage. Work has increased in the government and private sectors and wages have decreased. Contract and casual labor systems are rampant illegally. Safe work and job security have skyrocketed.
Also, 65 crore people in the country are unemployed. Others are falling victim to cheap Labour. That is why corporate capitalist forces are demanding continuous work for 12 hours a day, 72 hours a week. The BJP-led government has implemented these four labor laws for the super-profit of the vultures that prey on this rope labour.
This is the biggest and most dangerous challenge faced by the working class in the history of India. If the workers do not accept this challenge, all the factories and workplaces of this country will become a living hell for the working class.
Therefore, the Trade Union Centre of India hereby appeals to all the central trade unions and professional trade unions in all sectors, all the forces and individuals who are in favor of the working class to unite and prepare for a strong and victorious struggle.
